Mercat de Sant Antoni
I've walked past this market several times and always wondered why it was closed up, turns out they are doing some major renovations to it - hopefully they are done before I leave because this looks like the best one in town. It's a huge market in a really old building (1882) so I stuck my camera inside the gates to get a picture of what was going on. Until the La Boqueria will have to suffice I guess!

I also stumbled across the music hall in BCN, which it turns out was VERY close to the hostel where I stayed. I'd say one of the most disapointing things about all of these amazing buildings, is that you can never get quite far enough away to take a great photo, the streets are narrow and force these sort of awkward photos. Anyhow - that's the photo of the building with lots of ornamentation on it. Maybe I will get to see a concert there before I am done here!

What else? There's always a bunch of churches, which in certain lighting look totally different and you're not totally sure where you are. I'm always amazed at the sizes - how this could possibly have been achieved before modern building techniques....
Anyways, that's it for today. Tomorrow is supposed to be very rainy, I may actually attempt the 8 hour work day for once again! Have a great night, love to all!
